Our certified snow sports instructors meet you exactly where you are. Lessons are taught in German, with English available if needed; other languages such as French, Dutch, Italian or Spanish are available depending on availability for private lessons.
Arosa is one of Switzerland’s most family-friendly ski areas. In our Bärenbande, children from age 4 learn to ski through play. For the youngest, we already offer taster lessons beforehand – first experiences in the snow from age 2, accompanied by an adult.

Lesson times & pricesOur group lessons for adults take place in half-day sessions and are grouped by level. Lessons are held in German, and bilingually in German and English if needed. Maximum 8 people per group.
Whether it’s your first turns, confident riding on the piste, or your first freestyle attempts – in snowboard lessons in Arosa we work specifically on your technique and riding skills.
Cross-country skiing lessons in Arosa for classic technique and skating. In private lessons, we tailor to your level and goals individually.
In the Bärenbande, children from age 4 learn to ski through play. Depending on level, this ranges from first turns in the kids’ area to first runs on the piste.
The Swiss Snowsports level system for skiing and snowboarding: nine levels from Snowgarden to Black League, grouped by ability rather than age.
From two overnight stays, group lessons for children and teens up to 17 are included. For each night’s stay, you receive one free half-day lesson on skis or a snowboard. Simply book your accommodation, get your voucher, and get started.
From booking to your first turn – it could not be easier. You receive a 10% early booking discount until 31.10.; from 1.11., a 5% discount applies when booking up to 30 days before the course starts – only in our online shop.

Choose your preferred date and assess your current skill level. This helps you find the course that suits you – whether you’re stepping onto the piste for the first time or already riding confidently.
Book your course online and pay securely – your confirmation arrives directly by email. You can add a lift pass for Arosa Lenzerheide separately if needed.
Collect your ski-school ticket the day before or at least 1 hour before the lesson starts at the Inner- or Ausserarosa ski-school centre. Children in our group lessons also receive their ski-school vest. This means you are fully prepared for the lesson.
From Innerarosa via Tschuggen to the Weisshorn lift: here you’ll find our meeting points for your day on the snow. Depending on the course and level, we start from different locations – you’ll find the right meeting point directly in your booking.
The heart of the ski school in Innerarosa. This is where you'll find our main office, the Bärenbande (children's club) and direct access to Arosa's 103 km of cross-country trails. At our location you'll get all the important information for your day of snowsports:
Poststrasse 236 – your first point of contact on arrival.
Located directly by the top stations of the Tschuggen-Ost chairlift and the ABB Kulm Gondel. You can travel up comfortably on the Tschuggen-Ost chairlift or the ABB Kulm Gondel. Once at the top, you will find a central meeting point – the ideal starting point for your snowsports day.
During the high season the Weisshorn valley station is an additional meeting point for children of the Blue League ski – in addition to the Innerarosa ski school centre. Where your child starts is stated in your booking confirmation.
Our office in Ausserarosa – in the Foto Homberger building, below the Tschuggen-Ost chairlift. Private lessons from Beginner+ level start right in front of it.
