Snowsports with radio-guided support
Visually impaired guests can ski, snowboard, cross-country ski and snowshoe in Arosa. A companion skis in close proximity and guides you safely across the slope, the cross-country trail or the winter path using a radio system with clear instructions. This lets the pace and terrain be continually adapted to you.
The offer is aimed at beginners as well as experienced winter sports enthusiasts who want to pursue their sport alongside an experienced, specially trained instructor.

Sit-skiing – accompanied or independent
The ski bob makes snowsports possible even for physical limitations that rule out classic ski or snowboard equipment.
Dual ski bob
You sit comfortably in a large seat shell, secured with safety harnesses. A trained snowsports instructor skis behind you and guides the bob smoothly down the slope. The dual ski bob is suitable for children and adults alike.
Monobob
Would you like to ride the bob yourself? Our snowsports instructors give monobob lessons from beginner to advanced level.

Special Olympics World Winter Games 2029
In winter 2029, Switzerland will host the Special Olympics World Winter Games. From 6 to 17 March 2029, around 2'500 athletes from 110 nations will arrive for nine sports – accompanied by coaches, family members, volunteers and media from all over the world. The Special Olympics World Games are considered the second-largest winter sports event in the world after the Olympic Games.
Several disciplines take place over six days in the canton of Graubünden: figure skating, short track, floorball and floor hockey in Chur, alpine skiing and snowboarding in Arosa, and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and dance in Lenzerheide. For Arosa as one of the alpine venues, this is special recognition of its long-standing experience in inclusive snowsports.
The Verein Blindenschneesport Arosa (VBA) supports blind and visually impaired people actively and financially in practising a wide range of snow sports. The association also trains snow sports instructors every year to guide blind and visually impaired guests.

On the monobob, you ride the bob on your own. Our snowsports instructors support you from beginner to advanced level.
