General

  • Unless expressly agreed otherwise, all transactions between the Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Arosa and the customers are subject to these GTC's. The aim of the company is the operation of a snow sports school. This includes in particular services such as giving lessons in the skills and knowledge of snow sports, without guarantee of a specific training success, as well as guiding and accompanying in snow sports.
  • Bookings paid online are considered confirmed reservations.
  • The price of the lessons does not include the chair lift pass. The Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Arosa will not compensate for lost lesson time due to breakdowns of the cable car facilities.
  • Any wishes and concerns regarding eating habits, medical prophylaxis, etc. please inform in advance so that the snow sports instructor can take the necessary measures.

Prices

The prices of the lessons are free of value added tax.

Means of payment

Only Swiss francs are accepted as means of payment. We accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, American Express, Visa, Maestro, Postcard, Twint and Reka).

Insurance

The Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Arosa declines any liability for accidents that occur before, during or after the lessons. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the participant. The participant is obliged to have sufficient insurance.

Snow sports lessons

Group lessons

Lessons take place in all weather conditions, except when the lifts are closed due to weather conditions. If there are less than 4 participants per group, the Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Arosa reserves the right to combine individual groups or to adjust the offer accordingly.

Private lessons

Lessons take place in all weather conditions, except in the event of a weather-related suspension of the mountain lifts.

Cancellation and refund

Cancellation of firm private bookings before 48 hours of course start at the ski school office are free of charge. Cancellations up to 24 hours before the start of the course will be charged 50% of the course fee, after that 100% of the course fee is due. 

Reimbursement in the event of an accident or illness will only be made on presentation of a medical certificate from a local doctor. Other reasons such as inclement weather conditions, closed access roads, suspension of railways etc are not grounds for reimbursement.

Lesson tickets and refunds

Tickets are personal and non-transferable. Unused lessons will only be refunded upon presentation of a medical certificate and expire at the end of the season in which they were issued. If a refund is issued, only the difference will be refunded. The used lessons will be charged according to the best possible tariff. Each lesson used will be charged in full.

Unforeseen events

The Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Arosa reserves the right to change, cancel or terminate the program or individual services after the conclusion of the contract and also during the activity if natural and/or weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, official and/or safety measures or other risks) make this necessary.

Covid-19

If the entire ski area has to be closed or if the snowsport lessons of the Swiss Ski + Snowboard School cannot be held for safety reasons, the full course fee will be refunded.

Data protection

The Swiss Ski + Snowboard School Arosa reserves the right to use any visual material for marketing purposes. You can revoke the permission to use and share the data and images at any time by sending us a message to this effect to fun@sssa.ch. The data necessary for the business transaction will of course be treated confidentially.

Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction for disputes is Arosa. Tariff changes and misprints reserved. Swiss law applies.
